In one of Dallas’s most iconic shopping destinations, Van Brunt & Company led a complex open-remodel and expansion for the beloved P.F. Chang’s at NorthPark Mall. This high-visibility project involved removing the original exterior wall to expand the restaurant’s footprint and create a brand-new outdoor dining area, all while keeping the restaurant open and fully operational.
With construction taking place overnight, our team worked under tight schedules and strict mall regulations. We created secure, enclosed work zones both inside and outside the restaurant to keep diners, shoppers, and staff safe each day. From uncovering unexpected structural elements to collaborating with the city, mall management, architects, and even NorthPark’s arborist, we navigated every curveball with agility.
Through day and night debriefs, doubled crews, and precise staging, we delivered a fresh, modernized P.F. Chang’s space that elevates the dining experience and blends seamlessly into one of the busiest retail hubs in Texas.
